TasteMap provides educational and entertainment content about street food, maps, and optional account features. We may change or discontinue features at any time. The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate others. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or harm other users or our systems.
If you upload photos or other content, you grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content for the purpose of operating the app (for example showing your unlock). You confirm you have the rights to the content you submit and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.
You will not misuse the app: no unlawful activity, no harassment, no attempt to reverse engineer or overload our systems, and no scraping or automated abuse of our APIs beyond normal app use.
The app may use third-party services (for example authentication, maps, or cloud hosting). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. Map data and imagery are subject to the map provider’s terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from use of the app, food choices you make, or travel decisions. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of the app from claims arising out of your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of others’ rights, to the extent permitted by law.
Unless mandatory consumer laws in your country say otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction may have exclusive venue; consumers may still have non-waivable rights in their home country.
