This summary complements our Privacy Policy. It lists categories of data associated with using TasteMap and why we process them.
What: email address, user id, optional username or display name, and authentication tokens stored securely on your device.
Why: to sign you in, keep your session, and show your profile in the app.
What: which foods you unlocked, achievement state, and related metadata our servers need to sync progress.
Why: to power your cookbook, stats, and achievements.
What: latitude and longitude when you use unlock flows that require being in a country, as permitted by you in system settings.
Why: to verify eligibility for location-based unlock rules described in the app.
What: images you capture or select when the app asks for proof to unlock a dish.
Why: to store proof associated with your unlock and display it where the app shows your progress.
What: IP address, device identifiers, and logs our cloud provider processes when you call APIs.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use in-app advertising SDKs for cross-app tracking in this policy’s sense. If that ever changes, we will update this document and the Privacy Policy before expanding use.
You can revoke location or camera/photos permission in iOS Settings or Android Settings. You can sign out in the app. For account deletion, contact us through the App Store or your published support contact.
